Open Data Club

Automated trading. Non-custodial structure. Client-controlled brokerage accounts.

Open Data Club is being built as a client-facing automation platform that connects to each user’s own Interactive Brokers account, with clear strategy rules, platform reporting, and no pooled custody model.

What this platform is

Users sign up through Open Data Club, connect or open their own Interactive Brokers account, link a bank through Plaid where needed, and activate a strategy instance tied to their own brokerage account. The platform handles reporting, controls, onboarding, and strategy visibility. Interactive Brokers remains the brokerage source of truth.

Broker connection

Interactive Brokers handles balances, positions, orders, fills, and brokerage account records.

Bank linking

Plaid is used for bank-link workflows, ACH-related authorization flows, and funding experience where applicable.

Strategy visibility

Users get dashboard access, order history, account snapshots, performance views, and status notifications.

Hard truth

This is not a passive wealth product. It is a trading automation platform. The strategy can lose money, range assumptions can fail, and users need risk disclosures that are direct, not watered down.
